It is not all on EA, I shouldn't have spent the balloons, players on TY Hilton, should have waited and I could have got the player I wanted. But it is what it is, hindsight is 20/20.

@pinetree - my complaint is, that I would have waited for the release of these new NYE packs and been able to complete the Offensive Lineman Set again if I would have known that EA was going to do one last day of NYE packs. I was told they would not be releasing anymore NYE packs, and not to wait, just to complete the set I could and be done with it. It looks like my source was full of shit, and next time, I won't listen to people who don't know what they are talking about.

It isn't just that the event ended, but I also was not able to purchase or get anymore packs for the NYE at all after the event ended. It had the amount of time left to complete the sets up in the top left of the program. So, when you click solo and then click programs, in the top left corner it said like 7 days. That morning it suddenly ended. I know it was on the calendar but when the program box says "7 days" you think you have 7 days left to make you set. Then I asked a few league mates of mine if they thought EA would release packs again for this event, or if I should just complete what set I could and move on. They said the event was done and that EA would not release more packs down the road. Then boom this morning comes and EA realsese a bunch of packs that would have for sure got me over the hump to unlock the player I was going after. *sorry for typos and grammer, I am at work and hurrying through this. I was super bummed out about it this morning but nothing I can do now, wish there was a way EA could give me my badges and players back, and they could take back Ty Hiltons bitch ass back lol.

What is the deal with EA? This has happened to me on multiple events this year. I have almost enough badges or collectibles to unlock the player or item I am going for. The event abruptly ends, and I am short so I can not get that player. I go and spend all my players, collectibles and badges on which ever player is next best (in this event it was  T.y. Hilton because I had already unlocked 1 of the 94 NYE offensive lineman, and 93 TE Darren Waller). So I settle for T.y. Hilton who I don't even need on my team, but when they unlock for the AH I can sell. I then use the other UF players for the NFL 100 card exchange (where they give you between 5-100 NFL100 cards, which I only got between 5-10). So, now all the sudden today, out of nowhere they re-release some of the NYE cash, coin, and gem packs. Which I would have easily been able to use what I have and unlocked the reamining 94 overall OT west coast player I was going for. Why wouldn't they let us know in the news bulletin or something that they would indeed give us the chance to buy some packs and unlock the player or players we were grinding for. I normally would not say anything but this has happened on 3 big events to me this year and it pisses me off. I know that I am not alone when I say this either, it feels like I am constantly getting shafted by EA. Can we fix this EA? Or is this going to continue to piss off members like myself who have been playing since the very first year and are dedicated members that make up this game and make it what it is today.
